The Other Side of Glorious Gurgaon

Gurgaon, has emerged as a major industrial city. Last few years this place has witnessed with many glorious commercial/corporate buildings, metros, multiplexes, big fat residential complexes etc. But imagine a “street without light in the dark is like a ship without water” strange!! But our own Gurgaon is facing this non functional street light problem every now and then.

It is very sad to see that in one side we are growing in terms of economy, we paying tax on time but what we are getting are not enough. At least in terms of security dark nights are like invitation. Working women faces problem while commuting late evening/night. They used to commute with certain sense of fear with them.

Non Functional Street Light Problem is not ending to only women; even commuters of opposite gender feel the need of proper street lights so that any obstacles coming in between roads can be seen clearly. Problem is not ending here, locals, commuters are facing traffic problems due to heavy vehicles and additional population coming to Gurgaon for work, traffic increases because of lack of inadequate traffic sign boards too.

For city traffic to run smoothly adequate traffic sign boards are required, as it functions as a total guide for commuters. More traffic personnel are needed to resolve this issue. Commuters who takes metro route saves their much time but as soon as they step out from metro and take an auto or cab they too face similar problem of traffic which waste their time.

Several roads need to be analyzed again for improvement. Roads like: Subhash chowk, iffco chowk, Shankar chowk, huda city centre, signature tower junction etc. The city has shined as a glowing star from last few years, and to maintain this it is important that any short of problem is need to be solving as soon as possible. Proper planning is must to take place.

Inadequate Traffic Sign Boards, lack of traffic personnel are reason why traffic congestion takes place in peak hours.
